Kim E. Whitmore, PhD, RN, CPN

Kim Whitmore has more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience working with communities as a nurse manager, educator, research scientist, local Health Officer, and Policy Section Chief and State Health Plan Officer for the Wisconsin Division of Public Health.  Currently, Dr. Whitmore is an Assistant Professor at Marquette University where she helps to cultivate the next generation of nurse leaders who will transform the healthcare system. 

 

She received an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Marquette University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Research from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.
